ABOUT Verdant Isle Orchid Research
Christine Rose-Smyth is an avid field naturalist, independent researcher, promoter of citizen science and supporter of conservation outreach and education. She has called the Cayman Islands home since 1985.
Prior to a career in financial and legal services she published research on deep-sea crinoids, pleurotomarian slit shells, and acroporid reef corals.
Christine served as the chair of the National Conservation Council for three years, from its inauguration in September 2014.
